Before beginning to use Hit Factory:
You should first configure the software to the best. In order to do this, follow theses steps:
1) Launch Hit Factory.
2) Select "Sound..." in the sub-menu "Preferences" of the "File" menu.
3) In the dialog, set "Sampler Tracks" to 16, "Synthetizer polyphony" to 4 et "Rythms Box polyphony" to 6 (Sound Manager 3.2 has to be present in your system! It is included with QuickTime 2.5). Verify also that "ByPass sound headers" and "No sound loading at interrupt time" are checked.
4) Quit and launch again Hit Factory.
How to listen to demonstration musics:
1) Launch Hit Factory if it is not currently running.
2) Select "Open music..." in the "File" menu.
3) In the open dialog, select the file contained in one of the sub-folders of folder "Demonstration Musics ─".
